Vision & Mission
We exist to be the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus,to a broken community
by giving our lives to expand God’s Kingdom
wherever and to whomever God calls us to serve.
As disciples of Jesus, we will show the Good News by our actions,
and we will tell the Good News with our words.
We will walk around every corner to help people who need the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
If you want to make a BIG difference in the life of someone who is hurting or struggling,
you’ve come to the right place!

Our Mission

You also, like Living Stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood,
offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

The mission of Living Stones Church is simply, “To give our lives to encouraging and equipping people to pursue Jesus and His likeness.” Because of our passion for Jesus Christ and our love for our community, our vision is for every man, woman, and child in our community to have the opportunity to experience and hear the life changing message of Jesus Christ!

The heart of our church is to show the love of Christ to others through our own actions. We are a compassionate church that seeks transformation for ourselves and others by the inerrant authority of Biblical scripture. We are mission minded in our community and beyond.

We value people having the freedom to join us wherever they are on their spiritual journey.
We value caring for people more than traditions.
We value giving God our very best through the ministry of excellence!
We value generosity in all aspects of our lives as we perform God’s work in our community.
We value multi-generational fellowship.
We value investing in families and the next generation.

Living Stones Church Hospitality
“…a come as you are place…”
We believe that church should be the place that you are most comfortable,
no matter where you are on your journey or what your past history with church has been.
We invite you to simply come as you are to Living Stones Church!
Once here, you’ll find clear pathways to take you to your next level of faith and intimacy with Christ.
                                  OUR CORE BELIEF

These are our essential core beliefs that we hold very strongly and without waver. We have a saying, “In our essentials we have unity and in our non-essentials we have charity (love).” That means we have unyielding unity in our core beliefs. In those areas that are not our core beliefs we can differ in love and still maintain unity. Most important is that we believe that the only path to heaven is through faith and the belief in Jesus Christ, the blood and the cross.
There is no other way than through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

                                                          THE NATURE OF GOD
We believe in one God, creator and sustain-er of the universe, who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and we affirm His desire to be intimately involved in the lives of men and women.
God as Creator:
Genesis 1:1; Nehemiah 9:6; Psalms 33:6, Psalms 102:25; Jeremiah 10:12; Acts 17:24-25; Hebrews 11:3

God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit:
Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19-20; John 15:26; 1 Corinthians 12:4-6; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Galatians 4:4-5; Ephesians 4:4-6; 1 Thessalonians 1:2-5; 2 Thessalonians 2:13-15; 1 Peter 1:2; Jude 20-21

Man Created in God’s Image for Fellowship with Him:
Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 5:2; 1 Corinthians 1:9;
1 John 1:3

                                                       THE NATURE OF HUMANITY
We believe all men and women to be created in the image of God for the purpose of fellowship with Him, and that we have all forfeited that fellowship because each of us, according to our nature and by acts of our wills, have rejected God.
Man Created in God’s Image for Fellowship with Him:
Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 5:2; 1 Corinthians 1:9; 1 John 1:3

The Result of Sin:
Psalms 14:1-3; Psalms 51:5; Romans 5:12-14;Romans 7:5; Romans 3:23;

                                                             NATURE OF CHRIST
We believe in Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, who in His nature is both fully human and fully divine, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
Jesus’ Human Nature:
Luke 2:6-7; John 1:14; Matthew 1:20; Luke 2:52; Hebrews 2:14; 1 John 4:2.

Jesus’ Divine Nature:
John 1:1-4; 1 John 5:20; John 1:18, Isaiah 9:6.

                                                        NATURE OF CHRIST’S DEATH
We believe that as an ultimate act of God’s love Christ came to earth, lived a sinless life and accepted upon Himself the penalty for our sin through His death on the cross.
Isaiah 53:5-6; Matthew 20:28; John 3:14-15; Romans 5:6-8; Galatians 3:15; Colossians 2:13-15;1 Peter 2:24; 1 Peter 3:18; 1 John 2:2

                                                      THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ and accept it as an affirmation of His power over death and promise of eternal life for those who place their faith in Him.
Romans 1:1-4; Romans 4:25; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:20-22; Ephesians 1:18-21; 1 Peter 1:3-4; Matthew 16:21; Matthew 28:1-11

                                                                 ETERNAL LIFE
We believe that God freely offers eternal life to anyone who will place his or her faith in Christ and that this comes as God’s gift to us apart from our own merits or standards of righteousness.
Romans 6:23; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 5:24; John 11:25; John 20:31; Romans 8:38-39; 1 John 5:11-13; Titus 3:5; John 10:10

WE BELIEVE IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in all believers, conforming them to the image of Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:13, Romans 8:16-17
The Holy Spirit sanctifies – sets us apart to fulfill God’s purpose for our lives.
The Holy Spirit preserves – He keeps us until the day that Christ returns.
The Holy Spirit comes within you when you accept Christ into your heart.
The scriptures identify Him as “the one called alongside to help provide comfort, revelation regarding the will of God and teaching.”

WE BELIEVE IN THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an endowment of power, subsequent to con-version, given by God to anoint the believer for sanctification and evangelism. It is our understanding that the supernatural charisma of the Holy Spirit is active with the Body of Christ until the coming of the Lord.
Furthermore, we believe the development of the charismatic gifts ought to be encouraged under the guidance of local church authorities.
Acts 8:14-17, Acts 19:1-2, 1 Corinthians 12:4-7
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a subsequent experience to salvation.
The Holy Spirit within us produces fruit for an internal work and empower us
to finish the work of Jesus Christ on Earth.
